Etna - Saint Paul's Bay, Malta

Since 1987, some areas of Mount Etna have been protected by the Etna Regional Park. In 2013, the volcano was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. There are nearly 200 caves in the park, created by flowing lava, which were used by people as shelters, burial sites, and snow storage.

Malta is called the land of honey due to the high production of honey made from prickly pear, agave, thyme, and citrus fruit.

Malta is one of the best diving destinations in Europe. You can admire the underwater fauna and flora, rock formations, and a 3-meter-high statue of Jesus sunk in 1990.

In 1249, the Muslim population of Malta was expelled from the country or converted to Christians by the Holy Roman Emperor Frederick II.
