The clearest sky in the world - Vicuna area is famous for the cleanest skies in the southern hemisphere. No wonder then that it is teeming with astronomical observatories.
It is estimated that currently the country is inhabited by about 3,000,000 Poles. These are mainly people who came to Chile before the Second World War and their descendants.
