The country has the last jungle in Europe in Perućica. The Perućica forest is not massive but has many trees that are over 300 years old, and in many places, it is inaccessible to humans due to the density of flora and fauna.
The bridge in Mostar is one of the country's most recognizable landmarks. It is a 16th-century Ottoman bridge that stood for 427 years until it was ruined during the war in 1993. The bridge was reconstructed and opened in 2004.
