#46 GF - Saint James, Barbados

From 1627 to 1966, Barbados was a colony of Great Britain, and on November 30, 2021, it broke the personal union with Great Britain, becoming a republic. Sandra Mason became the head of state.
Name - The Portuguese drew attention to the local variety of fig-trees, forming roots looking like a beard. These trees were called "bearded trees" (os barbados), which gave the name to the entire island.
