#49 FOTW - Sutomore, Montenegro

Montenegro owes its name to the Lovćen mountain range in the southwestern part of the country, which is covered with lush, dark beech forests. A national park was established in the central part of the Lovćen mountain range in 1952.
The highest peak of the range is Štirovnik (1,749 m), and the most important mountain in the park is Jezerski vrh (1,657 m), where the mausoleum of Peter II Petrović Njegoš, the ruler of Montenegro, as well as an outstanding poet and philosopher from the Romantic period, is on the top.

EUROPA stamp 2018 - "Bridges"
