Colombia is the third-largest coffee producer in the world. Coffee production accounts for over 20% of Colombia's income. In 2011, UNESCO recognized the Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia, an area of the Paisa region, also known as the Coffee Triangle, as a World Heritage Site.
