In 1951, Dr. Jaroslav Skala created the first "shed" for those who enjoyed the events a little too much. This was to be an introduction to his alcoholic treatment facility. His treatment was based on work, sport and singing anti-alcohol songs.
The Prague Old Town is home to the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world. Every hour the mechanical procession of the apostles delight tourists.
