For the first time on the screen, Mickey Mouse appeared in the production of "Steamboat Willie" from November 18, 1928.  

Over time, Mickey Mouse evolved into a symbol of family values and the favorite character of all children. In the 1920s, however, the mouse was not so sacred. He smoked cigarettes, drank beer, and caused trouble. It is no wonder then that pedagogues in the 1920s and 1930s considered Disney animations too scary for children.
